Certification of Central Government Financial Statements – Financial Year 2022


The Court of Accounts has published the central government financial statements audit, drawn up each year pursuant to Article 58 of the Organic Act on Budget Acts (“LOLF”). The Court certifies that, subject to the impact of the issues described in the “Basis for
Qualified Opinion” section of its report, with regard to the accounting rules and principles to which it is subject, the central government’s general financial statement for FY 2022, prepared on 03 April 2023, is in order and true, and gives a faithful view of the central government’s financial position and assets. At the end of 2022, the central government’s net position was –1,758 billion euros.
